Hi guys, just a quick post to say I AM ALIVE! :) I’ve been soooo busy I literally haven’t had a minute to spare, hence me blogging from my iPhone while waiting to check in at the airport, I’m off to Turkey in 45 mins eeek! :) shall update you all when I’m back next week! Xxx
I’ve been neglecting my poor site again. There’s a hundred and one things I need to do (return comments, make some new tutorials, make a new layout – to name a few) but I’ve just been sooooo busy lately.
As I mentioned in a previous blog I’m off to Ibiza in May which is now just 5 weeks away! eek! My plan at Christmas was to get super-fit for the summer and be showing off my beach bod by the time Ibiza came around… it’s a shame New Year’s resolutions are so hard to stick to! I’ve been hammering the gym since January but I still wasn’t eating right really so I wasn’t seeing much progress – then 2 weeks ago I had a bit of a panic attack when I realised I’m nowhere near my goal weight :/ so I’ve been a fitness freak lately, eating nothing but healthy foods and running like Forrest Gump! So far this week I’ve run 27 mile :) which I’m quite proud of as I’ve never been a good runner. I HATED cross country at school. But I’m slowly getting better and better at it so hopefully if I keep it up in 5 weeks time I’ll see a lot of difference. It’s so hard staying focused though, especially when Scott is tempting me with sweets etc – he’s a bad influence!
I’m going to write my health/fitness tutorials after all this is done then at least I’ll have a bit of experience to back up my knowledge, I’m not really in a position to give advice just yet as I’m no angel when it comes to dieting/exercising! So if you’re interested in them I’ll let you know when they’re up :)
In other news, I went to see Jessie J in concert last week. (Pictures at the bottom) But it wasn’t that good to be honest :/ we qued up for more than 4 hours then when we finally got inside the venue she took TWO HOURS to come on stage. I’m sorry but that’s just rude! So we didn’t really enjoy it as much after that and then to top it off we got on the wrong train home and ended up getting stranded a good 50 miles away from home :/ luckily my friend’s boyfriend offered to come and save us – but by the time he picked us up it was 1.30am so fair to say I was tired the next day at work.
It was also mine and Scott’s two year anniversary on Monday :) (see, I have so much to update you all on!) we didn’t do much as were both low on financial funds but last night I treated him to a suprise meal at his favourite restaurant.
Anywhooo I best go and get ready as I’m going for a 9 mile run in 20 mins :/ I’m gonna have legs like Arnie Schwartz! Wish me luck :)

Are you guys sticking to your New Year’s Resolutions still?
Have you ever been stranded anywhere with no way of getting home?
I’ve been bad… But I literally couldn’t help myself. This week Topshop AKA my house of love decided to have a splash sale. I thought it would be a good idea to have a sneaky peak as I desperately need a dress for a wedding I’m going to this weekend. I should have known better.
I originally popped in for a ‘quick 5 minutes’ before work just to see if they had anything I liked… an hour and a half later I was still there, extremely late for work and tangled up in an array of discount clothes and jewellery. Oh dear. I was like a woman possessed, running from the jewellery section to the shoe section trying on different heels at the same time whilst dropping rings everywhere and shrieking “half off?!” apparently not to my self. I’m not exaggerating. If there’s one place on this earth I should be forbidden from entering, that place is Topshop. My bank balance is now back down to single digits and I’m working overtime tonight to make up for how late I was that day… but on a lighter note, want to see some of the goodies I bought? :)

I did manage to find a dress! So something positive did come out of my moment of madness as I’ve been dress hunting for almost a month now and it was driving me crazy. The dress was £75.00 but I got it on sale for £20.00 – one word BARGAIN! It’s a gorgeous champagne-coloured midi with gold chain details and sort of a ruffled hem – which I’m hoping will look good with a bit of a tan and some red lippy :) I haven’t been to a wedding in so long, I’m excited! We’re stopping over too but I’ll report back all about that on Monday.
Next up was a camel blazer that I’ve been after for a while now and for just £30.00 (when I was considering paying the original £55.00) I couldn’t leave it on the hanger :)
I also bought a croc leather purse (above) some black suede heels, a chiffon blouse that I really didn’t need, and a big pile of jewellery that I’ll possibly never wear.
I suppose my addiction is spending money that I don’t have :/ do any of you have any unhealthy addictions? (relax dearies, I don’t mean narcotic based)
EDIT: 3rd April – It’s now Sunday so just thought I’d add a few pics from the wedding yesterday so you could see how the dress turned out :)

I clearly am not cut out for blog challenges :/ I’m only upto Day 3 and I’d forgotten all about it. But in my defense it has been because I was busy converting to WordPress so no more fuss and on with the challenge :)
I actually do ha. I know what you’re thinking “You dark horse, you”. I’ve never mentioned them or uploaded photos but I was 14 when I got my tattoos so I often forget I have them. A bit young I know, but we all do mad things in our youth :) (I sound about seventy)
I have two angel wings at the top of my back which I absolutely love! I think they’re really original as they’ve got quite a lot of detail and it’s something different, not the usual stars and hearts you see girls with (no offense if you’re a star or heart-bearer) I also have a scroll along the bottom of my back entwined in two roses saying “Believe in Angels” which at the time I just thought was a really inspirational quote. Sort of meaning Believe in Yourself as the angel wings at the top were supposed to signify me being the angel. Hmmm, there is logic in there somewhere ha but what can I say, I was 14.
I don’t regret my tattoos but if I could go back in time I would maybe have got something different as I think tattoos should really mean something to you, maybe symbolising a past experience or a person you love, although that’s rarely the case with tattoos these days. I got them both done at the same time (it took two hours) and I’ve never had another one since, although I want loads I want to be 100% sure about them – afterall, a tattoo’s for life not just for Christmas ;) (had to get a cheesy one-liner in there somewhere) I’ll definitely get pics up soon!
Piercing wise I’ve had my upper lip done when I was 15 (bad move it looked horrible) but it’s now closed up. I also have my navel pierced and my ears three times and once at the top although I rarely wear earrings.
What tattoos/piercings do you guys have/want? :)
