My lovely visitors I've come to a dilemma! I just want your opinion on a few things really. I'm currently doing more tutorials for the "Hair & Beauty" section and I just wondered if you guys had any ideas - anything you want me to write a tutorial on sorta thing? Someone asked me in my question box if I would add photos to the tutorials to make them easier. What do you think? I admit I thought about doing that but didn't want to come across too vain ha so tell me whether you think that's a good idea or not too :) Seriously, your opinions I want to hear them! On with the blog challenge...

DAY 02 - What is your favourite movie and why?

Oooohh this is a tough one! I'm not going to ramble on and list my millions of favourite films - I wouldn't know where to start! But I do like to think of myself as a bit of a movie buff ;) I love them! It's the whole escaping from reality thing I think, I have a vivid imagination (so my grandma tells me) so I always try and relate to whatever the films about - meaning I cry at almost everything!

I have lots of favourites from the last year (Inception, Shutter Island to name a few) but the film I'd say has had the most impact on me is without a doubt My Sister's Keeper. If you've also seen this film you'll agree with me that it's life-changing. It's a sad film of course, after I'd watched it I told Scott I'd never cried so much (not at a film either - I'd never cried so much in my LIFE) and it's true I was blubbering away throughout the whole thing I think. Despite it being sad though it's not depressing, I felt so positive after I'd watched it as you get to see what some people go through and how hard they have it.. It's one of those that makes you greatful for everything you have and the things you take for granted - such as your health and your family. If you haven't seen it I highly recommend, and if there's a dry eye in the house you my friend are a form of robot ;)

Your turn to answer :)

How areeeee we all? First things first, are we romantic romeos or cynical sallys? Ha that was random. But seriously I'm interested, Valentines Day - you either love it or hate it! I've noticed a pattern in the people who hate it tend to be single (woaahhh now don't go jumping on the offensive bandwagon) I've just noticed, mainly through facebook statuses, that all my single girlfriends go a little something like "WHO needs men, vodka is my dream man BRING ON THE VODKA" whereas the taken ladies seem to be more like "omg my darling-lovey-dovey-snuggle-bunny has just bought me a big teddy bear and a million roses and my weight in chocolates etc etc" and the males of the species... well, they're not fussed either way are they? :)

I'd like to say I was a happy medium. I'm all for the jovality of it all (probably because I'm with Scott and it's an excuse to demand presents) but I don't go overboard with the icky-love-stuff. Our Valentines plans consist of a quick card exchange then a nice meal at a local Italian and a few bottles of wine, I'll leave the rest to your imagination - JOKING! Obviously. Scott will have passed out before we're anywhere near the bedroom :) Such is coupled-up life... Were doing all this tonight by the way as Monday we're both busy. True Valentines-ers.

Anywhooo just thought I'd pop by with a quick blog I'm now off to get ready - the meal is in two hours and I need to shower, shampoo, condition, exfoliate, moisturize, pluck, tweeze, dry, straighten (the list goes on...) but I am interested to know your plans for Valentines Day so do share :) it will give me something to read when Scott's half asleep and I'm watching "Love Actually" on my jack jones. Seriously.

Now you're probably no stranger to blog challenges, many sites do them. I never have, I've always found them a bit annoying (hypocrite - I know) but I'll admit they can be interesting :) so I'm going to attempt one! My reasons being that I need to get back into the habit of blogging and thought this would probably be a good way. Not going to throw myself in at the deep end and promise that I'll blog EVERY day for THIRTY days, let's be realistic! So I'm going to make my way down the list and when I blog I'll complete one of the topics. I also invite you to answer each of the challenges when you comment :) you know you want to! Here we go amigos...

DAY 01 - Post the most recent photo of yourself and explain.
Hmmmm, not the most flattering ha. It's of my friend Demi and me (right) on the last night out we had at the beginning of January for my friend's birthday.

Daft pose, I know, but in my defence I was a little drunk :) hence the Elvis-style dance move I seem to be pulling. Cringeeee! p.s. No I don't have a clue what Demi is doing :/

(You don't have to join in with this one if you don't want as it is a picture one but I'm holding you to the next one my friends!)

BAHHHH I HATE BEING POOR! I got paid yesterday and my wage literally went into my purse then straight back out - rent was due today. Bleugh. I have a whole 4 pounds to my name. That can't even get me a cheeky bottle of wine :( I know it won't be like this for long it's just until we get back on our feet with money but it sure does suck! I envy rich people. Kinda. Now I'll stop ranting as I know there's always someone worse off than you out there, people in third world countries for instance. I'll also stop teasing myself on the Topshop website as that doesn't help either. I've become a window shopper. Moving on...

Having a lack of funds is paying off in one way as it's forcing me to stay in on a Saturday night where I would otherwise be out intoxicating myself with dirty liquor :) and staying in means I get to relax, watch a film and (yes you guessed it) update the site! Which I am finally doing. Go me.

Apart from banging my head against the wall I've been doing a little youtube surfing and you NEEEED to watch this video. Jessie J is a new UK artist and to be honest I wasn't overly-thrilled with her debut single (ha I sound like a right snob) but my friend told me to check out her youtube blogs and my goddd the girl has a set of lungs on her! She's done a few video blogs of herself sat on the floor of her bedroom singing away to her webcam (songs which she has wrote herself) and she is in a word - amazing! And I don't use that word lightly! See for yourself people...

Pretty impressive huh? I love the "ow, I banged my elbow.. I'm never gonna be cool" haaa I find her quite funny and down-to-earth too, although with fame you can't be too sure how long that will last :/ I'm babbling a little now so I'm going to post a few of the Topshop goodies that I'm lusting after so you can join in and lust with me :)

Voulez vous coucher avec moi, ce sois? ...about the only French phrase I know, nothing to do with the song or anything :) No reason for the layout, random is as random does. I'm beginning to babble now so moving swiftly on..

HAPPY NEW YEAR! :) I'm baaaack. If you read my previous blog I mentioned my laptop won't connect to our internet hub (stupid hub) we've tried everything! I've had the experts in too and for some reason it's connecting but just not finding the IP address or something along the lines of that. So here I am, sat on the floor, against a TV stand, with a ridiculously short length of cable connecting my laptop to the hub, old-skool style ;) Now this must prove my dedication to the site as I've been sat here for hours making the Francais layout and my bum is beyond numb! So happy to be back blogging and updating though :) I'll completely understand if affies have given up on me as it was problem after problem - moving house has been more hectic than I'd imagine but we're at last feeling settled :)

I must have loads to update you all on but I'll keep this short and sweet as a sort of welcome back blog seeing as you'll be seeing more of me from now on :)

Now I'm off to track down my ex-visitors... Wish me luck!

Seasons Greetings! HO HO HO! Merry crimbo and all that jazz :) Hope you're all exciteddd for Christmas Day, I genuinely am for the first time in years! Probably down to the fact I'm in my own home now, the presents are wrapped, the wine is flowing and the mince pies are amazing! Such a shame they only sell these little beauties at Christmas, I'm likely to turn into one I've eaten that many... Dreading the January detox... But let's be realistic we all put on a little insulation over the festive season ;)

Moreee apologies about my absence - as you can see nothing on the site has been updated, not even the button rotations but the problem is my laptop refuses to connect to our internet hub (something to do with the drivers) so I'm blogging from my boyfriend's laptop and he doesn't have Smart FTP :/ I'm looking into buying a Mac Book in January so all should be back on track then and I will once again be a good affie :) ...I promise!

So what's everyones plans for Christmas? I've been to London :) to say I've lived in England all my life I've never actually been. It was quite good, I learnt I'm not really the tourist type as I was more focused on trying to revive my frozen cheeks than admiring the Queen's pad. But it was a good trip, the tube is maaaadness! I was nearly mobbed for not standing on the right on the way down to it! We did all the sight-seeing things (except the London Eye it's a rip off) here's a few pics...

Have a good Christmas everybody! :) xXx

Arghhhhh! The snow here is horrendous. (I'm in England btw) I HATE SNOW Sure it looks pretty enough when your sat inside all cosy by the fire, but not when you've gotta travel to the next town on a bus then walk a good mile and half to work. I move about 1mph because I'm so scared of falling over ha I really do look like a little old granny hobbling along. It only started snowing Monday but already the whole country has come to a stand still. Quite amusing how we can make it through two world wars but can't handle a bit of snow. There's your history lesson for the day ;) So how's the weather where you are? If you're from Aus please don't tease me :) my boyfriends brother lives over there and he's been emailing me weather forcasts daily. Evil.

Anywhoooo sorry I've not been about much, I did warn you all though! :) Moving house has been madness, everything's still not unpacked ha but I have to admit I absolutely loveeeeee love loveee having my own place! Can't believe I didn't move out sooner. It's not even been that expensive so far (touches wood) although we did get a water bill the day after we moved in, sting you with that one straight away don't they! Me and Scott have had olympic-standard arguments ha but it's to be expected I suppose seeing as were all of a sudden together all the time. I'm planning on decorating as soon as the bank balance will let me so I'll get some before/after pics up for you guys :)

In other news... I'm off to The Clothes Show in Birmingham this weekend! Dunno if you fellow Brits have seen it advertised but yesss I'm very excited :) although I have to be up at 6am :/ not a morning person... They have a fashion show on and lots of other little shows and we get goodie bags etc, hopefully spot a few celebs ;) What's everyone else upto this weekend?

I shall finish this wintery blog with a few pics off my iPhone of the snow, exciting stuff!

Is it possible to be in love with a song? I know I get semi-obsessed with most songs that I really like but this is definitely one for the all-time-favourites collection kids! For once I won't ramble on & on I'll just let you listen :)

Pretty good huh? It's such a powerful song it makes me want to cry for no reason! And songs that evoke that much emotion command respect! (I sound like I've been reading a dictionary I know)

Tying in with my new Vampire Diaries obsession I got the song off the soundtrack for the last episode of Season 1. And liked it so much I decided to make a layout with the lyrics - nothing else :) very basic I know but I kinda like the style, I didn't even put therunaway.net anywhere as it spoiled it a little. I found a site by the way where you can watch TVD for free - crisis over! I highly recommend you watch if you still haven't seen it. I wasn't a fan of the vampire craze either but seriously it's good. Go. Watch. Now. CLICK HERE

In other news... I have a house! :) I have my OWN house! Ahhh I'm so excited, I can't wait to move in. Hopefully we should be in by Friday/Saturday as they're putting the carpets down this week so that's why we have to wait. I might be absent for a while as thing's will probably be a little hectic at first moving in and trying to sort everything out - but I can get on the internet at work anyway so blogging shouldn't be a problem!

I had a rather dull weekend as I'm saving every penny for the deposit on the house, I've also had to sell half of my wardrobe on eBay :( goodbye beautiful clothes. This week involves lotssss and lotssss of packing! I hate packing. Anyone want to pack for me? :)

Now before I get gunned down by a mob of angry Twilight fans - have you actually SEEN Vampire Diaries? I can't explain how addicted I am to it! I only started watching it this week but oh my is that some bloody good acting! (excuse the pun) I seriously would pay good money to be Elena for a day! I've already found myself googling Paul Wesley (guy who plays Stefan) If you haven't seen it yet I highly recommend, I've watched nearly a full series in a week so that says it all. Now before you skeptics get all skeptical I didn't jump on the 'vampire band-wagon' either, I found Twilight a little over-rated (yes, I said it) and then there's been a million vampire-themed series come out. It was actually by chance that I saw the first episode of Vampire Diaries when I was off work the other day.

BUT I've come to a dilemma! There's no more episodes available on my tv and I NEEEEED to see the rest, so if you know anywhere online where I can watch Vampire Diaries (series 1 and 2) please help! I've had a look but keep getting told to fill out surveys first and other commercial crap :(

...it's like I've gone cold turkey.

Halloween was a disaster! The mummy costume idea went out the window, we encountered too many problems, it just wasn't happening :/ Such as how would we go to the toilet (nice) or how would we get it off at the end of the night when we were rather drunk and barely able to stand. Opted for the easier option and went with evil zombie nurse. Mainly because I already had a nurse costume (cheapo) so all I had to do was cut it up a bit and splash a bit of fake blood about. Sweet! But like I said it turned out a disaster! I stupidly drunk two bottles of wine before I went out, got too drunk, ended up rowing with Scott, cried a little, then was home in bed for 11pm. We didn't go out till 9pm! So yeah, disaster! I'm not a wine drinker so I've definitely learnt my lesson there :) But anywhoooo I only had my iPhone with me I forgot my camera which would explain the crap quality of the pic :/

So the title, it's time to fly the nest kids! Things aren't too great at home I don't really get on with my dad anymore - which is a shame because we used to be really close. Living with my mum isn't an option as I only see her once every 3 months or so (god this is turning into a bit of a depressing blog ha) So me and Scott have been looking for houses, we've seen one near his mum's house which would be perfect! We're going to view it next Monday so fingers crossed this is the one!

Lightening the mood a little how was everyone else's Halloween? I'm gonna get up-to-date with the site today, return comments and respond to the affie and advertising applications (no I haven't forgotten about youuu) I kinda wanna make a new layout but still really like this one so I'm going to fight the urge and leave it a little while longer :) The film we went to watch last week was Paranormal Activity 2 by the way. It was shocking! I won't spoil it for people who haven't seen it, but yeah, it was not good, I wouldn't waste your money people!

Ahhh I'm so excited for Halloween :) I sound about 7 I know but I can't wait! I love getting creative thinking of ideas of what to wear and making my costume. It's the one time of year you get to go out looking extremely messy and over the top and it's all gooood :) Last year I was an evil/zombie bride sorta thing. Not the best outfit I've ever worn as I had literally 3 days to pull it together but it was an improvement on all the costumes girls usually wear; cats/devils etc zzZzZzzzz I've found some pics from last year below, you can't really see the outfit but it's the best I could find. I wore white fishnet stockings and a white corset. Then I got some netting and material and made a white tutu and a veil :) I also made a little lace pouch as I didn't have a white bag but my Grandma had to get her sewing machine skills going on that (I'm not that talented!)

So this year I really want to be a mummy but I can't simply wrap myself in bandages I'll be freezing! Plus I don't think Scott will be too happy about the attire ha. It's not till next weekend anyway so plenty of time to ponder! What are you thinking of being for Halloween then? :)

In other news I've not been on the site much (sorry again) I've got my theory test for my driving next week so I've been revising for that after work and the gym, and by that time I'm away with the fairies! But I'm back and on a mission to get some tutorials done while I'm motivated! Watch this space ;)

p.s I'm going to the cinema tomorrow night with Scott but we can't decide if to watch The Social Network or Paranormal Activity 2 hmmm. What do you recommend people? No spoilers! :)

Ahhh I’m so excited for Halloween :) I sound about 7 I know but I can’t wait! I love getting creative thinking of ideas of what to wear and making my costume. It’s the one time of year you get to go out looking extremely messy and over the top and it’s all gooood :) Last year I was an evil/zombie bride sorta thing. Not the best outfit I’ve ever worn as I had literally 3 days to pull it together but it was an improvement on all the costumes girls usually wear; cats/devils etc zzZzZzzzz I’ve found some pics from last year below, you can’t really see the outfit but it’s the best I could find. I wore white fishnet stockings and a white corset. Then I got some netting and material and made a white tutu and a veil :) I also made a little lace pouch as I didn’t have a white bag but my Grandma had to get her sewing machine skills going on that (I’m not that talented!)

So this year I really want to be a mummy but I can’t simply wrap myself in bandages I’ll be freezing! Plus I don’t think Scott will be too happy about the attire ha. It’s not till next weekend anyway so plenty of time to ponder! What are you thinking of being for Halloween then? :)

In other news I’ve not been on the site much (sorry again) I’ve got my theory test for my driving next week so I’ve been revising for that after work and the gym, and by that time I’m away with the fairies! But I’m back and on a mission to get some tutorials done while I’m motivated! Watch this space ;)

p.s I’m going to the cinema tomorrow night with Scott but we can’t decide if to watch The Social Network or Paranormal Activity 2 hmmm. What do you recommend people? No spoilers! :)

Righteo (never said that before in my life) I'm debating whether to convert to Wordpress or not, hmmm. Go over to the dark side? I know there are a lot of pro's and con's about it which is why I thought I'd blog about it first and hear other people's opinions. I know how to use it as I have Wordpress installed on my CV website but I don't have a blog on that site I just use the add on's really. Anyway, your comments will be much appreciated :)

In other news... Winter ahhhh. I hate it. I really do. I'm a summer baby all the way but unfortunately living in the UK we don't see much of that! It's only just turned October and already there's ice on the roads! I'm dreading these Winter months :( mainly because I walk to work which takes a good 40-50 minutes so I'm subjected to the freezing weather every morning! On the plus side I love love love Winter fashion :) but trying to decide which Winter coat I want this year has me tearing my hair out! I've looked on every clothes site going at least 100 times (slight exaggeration) The aviator jackets seem to be the 'it' jacket at the moment but I can't work out if I'd pull it off or not ha. Anyway after hours of searching I've finally narrowed it down to a few candidates (pictures below) tell me which one you think I should get :) if I had the money I'd buy them all!

And last but not least - I've entered a SOTM competition! Ha so unlike me I know but I was bored and thought I'd see what I was missing out on. I don't expect to win ha but it would be nice not to lose :) I shall love you forever if you vote for me via the link below - it will take you literally 3 clicks and you will be done. Go on, you know you want to ;)

If the link doesn't work at first just click refresh. No idea why but it's doing this with some browsers.

p.s I went out for my friends birthday at the weekend but I haven't uploaded the pics yet so I'll blog about that when I do :) Here's a few pics from the night out! It was Hilary's birthday, she lives quite a few towns away so we just went round the town centre there which was mainly bars. I haven't been that drunk in a lonnnnnnnnnng time, I was wasted I could hardly remember anything! All because of the evil Cheeky Vimto's! Fair to say I was unbelievably hungover yesterday I'm still a little groggy today :( feel sorry for me ha.

Apologies my online friends! Sorry I haven't been around much in the past 2 weeks or so, I've had a push for free lance work so been trying to get my graphic-design-portfolio-site-thingy-majig up to date. It's done at last! And ironically with the small amount of free lance work I receive and the small amount of time it takes to do I actually make more than my weekly wage. Such is life!

New layout! See, I am dedicated :) I'm also redoing most of the coding on the site so that should keep me busy for a while! I'll also make sure I get some tutorials done too. In other news, I've not been up to much lately as work has been hectic. Me and the boyfriend went to a Black Tie Event last Friday (one of them posh doo's where you have to get all dressed up) Scott even had to wear a bow tie :) it was an amazing night! There were celebrities everywhere I was star struck ha, we had to walk along a red carpet to get in and there were paparazzi and everything! I've never seen paps in real life, they are craaaazy! I managed to jump on pics with a few celebs :) Amir Khan the boxer and Joe from Shameless (for my friends over the pond Shameless is a British soap opera) I couldn't take my camera as we weren't allowed in with them :( but my bro got a pic of me before I left for the doo (photo to the right) I some how managed to squeeze myself into a dress TWO SIZES smaller. It took me twenty minutes and I could barely breathe all night but I got in the dress! That's all that counts ;)

I'm pretty tired anyways so I'm going to keep this blog short and sweet (for once, I know!) it's 11.15pm here and I want to have a bit of a read of my Martina Cole book before bed. Cannot get enough of her books lately. I highly recommend!

CONTENT IS FINALLY OPEN! It's still under a lot of construction, but as I've explained if I did it all at once then I'd have nothing left to do :) so I'm going to add to it bit by bit. It's no longer your run-of-the-mill graphics resource site any longer! I decided there's already hundreds of those out there and to be honest I've nothing better to offer you graphics-wise than any of the others. So instead I thought I'd share my years of trial and error with you all and turn this into a tutorials website but tutorials for the real world as well as online world - there's the catch ;) I've actually not seen any other site do this yet to this extent, so I'm hoping you're finding something rather unique here. I've sat down and tried to give my advice in all areas as best I can. You can also request a tutorial (whatever the subject) and I'll do my best to deliver :)

In other news I had quite a good weekend. Friday me and Scott went to a family BBQ at his and watched the England match. 4-0 to England - very impressive! Then Saturday we went to the Boatyard again (the long walk to the secluded pub I mentioned in my last blog) and Saturday night I went out with the girls. There was only about 10 of us but it ended up a really good night, I was very drunk! And paid the price yesterday I was soooo hungover but ended up going out for the day with Scott and another couple - not a wise move. Pictures from the night out are dotted around the blog!

Now then the title! WHAT - A - TUNE!!!! It's called Katy B - Katy On A Mission and I seriously can't stop listening to it. It well gets me in the mood to go out. It's been on my iPhone a day and the play count is 34! Have a listen below..

p.s I've had to add the security code thing to my comment form as I kept getting spam :/ sorry guys.

the pox (chicken not small)

HOW EMBARRASSING! I have the chicken pox at 19. That's right the chicken pox! I'll start from the beginning shall I (skip to the next paragraph if you're bored already ha)

Like most people I had chicken pox when I was younger, about 2 I think, so I can't really remember it. But as the tale goes you can apparently only get it once? WRONG! I had a pain all through my shoulder and neck last week it was agonising but it felt as though I'd just pulled a muscle. I was nagging at Scott to give me massages night and day to ease the pain but by weekend it was not only hurting it had also swollen up and was stinging like mad. I was scared. I didn't know what it was. I cried. Scott laughed. He's evil like that. So Monday I went to the doctors expecting him to say something along the lines of "you've slept funny and pulled a muscle or bruised a bone etc etc" Took me completely off guard when he turned around and said it was a form of chicken pox. I think I actually said the words 'Say what now?' He then explained that chicken pox is a virus that stays in your body and when you're run down or stressed it can break out again but in a different form. An adult form to be exact. And man oh man does it hurt! But it's only on my neck and left shoulder. Strange eh? It has been a bit of an inconvenience though, it's my friends 19th tonight and we were supposed to be having a cocktail party but I can't go because some of them have never had chicken pox. I FEEL LIKE A LEPAR!

So enough about illness! At the weekend me and Scott were bored during the day Saturday and decided to go for a walk to a nearby pub that's right on the edge of a lake. It's really nice and secluded and does gorgeous food. Bearing in mind we've only ever drove there from my house we weren't too sure how far it actually was. We thought about 20 mins or so down the canal... 2 hours later and we're still walking. Miles away it was! I have to admit though we had quite a good time :) we saw some tiny little ponies on the way. I can't remember the name of the breed but you could literally pick them up they were so small. Ahhh I was screaming like a little girl I was that excited ha. Click the picture of Scott and the ponies to see exactly what I mean about their size. Next time we go I'm going to steal one :)

In other news I had my first driving lesson today! I absolutely loved it. I was nervous at first but once she explained everything I drove for about half an hour and didn't stall once - she said I was a natural ;) check me! I'm already looking for cars on the internet ha (not that I'll be able to afford one) All my friends can drive but they had their lessons and their cars paid for by their parents where as good old me has to fork it all out myself, which would explain why I've waited until now. Not complaining though, I think it's only fair as my Dad had to pay for his lessons himself, just annoys me sometimes though how spoilt a lot of my friends are. At £20 a lesson it's going to cost me at least a grand to learn how to drive! If only money grew on trees..

p.s Bank holiday weekend! If I was Prime Minister every Monday would be a bank hol. Infact Monday's would be banned altogether ;)

Now then, the title - we shall get to that soon! First off helloooo darlings :) how was everyones weekend? I had my birthday celebration Saturday. I went for a meal at a tapas bar (Spanish food) in town with 22 of my girl friends. Yes 22, we more or less rented the place out as it was so small! So I was busy busy last week rushing around trying to sort out the deposit which is my excuse for the lack of updates :) In actual fact I have been updating as I've been working on secret content ;) "oooh errr" but that shall all soon be revealed!

So Saturday was fun I love love love tapas bars! It's such a different spin on going for a meal, I enjoy the whole thing. Instead of sitting down and ordering a main and a dessert for example, you order up to 6 dishes at a time! Sounds extremely greedy I know, but they're only tiny little dishes so you can keep ordering and ordering as much as you like, I'm usually stuffed off the first few though! We caused a bit of a scene in the tapas bar as we were all a little drunk so I only got one or two pictures but I have a few from the night out afterwards which you will see scattered around this blog entry :)

Now back to the title, 3 words - WHAT THE HELL? I'm not sure if it had previously aired in America but over here in the UK Sunday night was the first showing of the final ever episode, and what a disappointment! I didn't think the episode was anything special to begin with (my bad Kristin but I'm a loyal LC fan) but seriously did they have to go and do that at the end?! Before you start I know, I know, The Hills isn't real but I thought there was at least a teeny weeny bit of truth behind it, that it wasn't ALL scripted. But the ending obviously proved me wrong. I won't go into too much detail incase few of you haven't seen it yet. But in a nut shell - not impressed! Gotta feeling there's going to be some pretty angry Hills fans out there...

In other news, not up to much this week apart from work zZzz. Going out for tea then to the cinema with my friend Demi on Wednesday. Hopefully going to watch Inception as I've still not seen it. I've heard off quite a few people that it's similar to Shutter Island (which I absolutely loved) so I can't wait :) good actor is old Leo!

New layout :) Trying to only update the layout once a month but I've been itching to make a new one - hope you like!

Happy birthday to meee! I know what you're thinking :) "must be having a pretty dull birthday if she's spending it blogging on her site" ha but truth is I'm at work and I've nothing to do! Shock I know, I take random pointless days off but when it's my birthday I actually come in, I don't understand it myself.

Anywhoooo my last birthday as a teenager as I'm 19 today - talk about putting a depressing spin on things! I feel old. The picture to the left is of the birthday girl herself (bored at my desk)

Not got much planned today as I'm celebrating my birthday on Saturday having a night out with the girls! So today just going to finish work early and go for sumet to eat then to the pub with a few friends. I've received a few cards and money which is the norm as you get older, whatever happened to big glittery presents ha :) enjoy them while you can young ones!

Scott got me the best present ever - he took me to a spa for the weekend to get all preened and pampered :) IT - WAS - AMAZING! I've been nagging at him forever to take me so my birthday was a good excuse. It was well worth the money, we spent all of Saturday in the pool and jacuzzi with champagne (ooh la la) then went for a meal that night. But I admit it got a little daft, we ended up drinking too much (I was sick all over the hotel room - not the relaxing weekend I had planned afterall ha) so I was rough all day Sunday and couldn't enjoy my massage and facial as much as I wanted to, not making that mistake next time I tell thee! Here's a few photos, I forgot my camera again so the quality is a bit crap as they're off my phone..

I’ve received a few cards and money which is the norm as you get older, whatever happened to big glittery presents ha :) enjoy them while you can young ones!

Scott got me the best present ever—he took me to a spa for the weekend to get all preened and pampered :) IT—WAS—AMAZING! I’ve been nagging at him forever to take me so my birthday was a good excuse. It was well worth the money, we spent all of Saturday in the pool and jacuzzi with champagne (ooh la la) then went for a meal that night. But I admit it got a little daft, we ended up drinking too much (I was sick all over the hotel room—not the relaxing weekend I had planned afterall ha) so I was rough all day Sunday and couldn’t enjoy my massage and facial as much as I wanted to, not making that mistake next time I tell thee! Here’s a few photos, I forgot my camera again so the quality is a bit crap as they’re off my phone..

You always think it's only other people that manage to do ridiculous things like this but there you have it - I've gone and put my iPod in the WASHING MACHINE. I've tried to turn the poor thing on since but nope, nothing - it's a gonner! :( Although on the plus side it is very clean... R.I.P. iPod

All hope is not lost though as I still have my iPhone. Just gonna use that as an iPod for now but this means I need a new docking station. Help! I've been after one that will work with my iPhone for a while now anyway but there's just too many! I don't have a clue which one to buy :/ any recommendations? It has to be compatible with iPhone 3GS

In other news I've not been able to update the site all week as I've been stopping at my friend's pub. Her mum has gone on holiday to Turkey for the week and left her in charge so she's basically forced me into lodging with her as she didn't want to be on her own... I thought "yeah it'll be great we'll have the pub to ourselves all week - free drinks and all that jazz" - oh how wrong was I! A big factor I failed to remember was that I'd still have to get up and go to work everyday. Last night she had a lock in but I was upstairs trying my hardest to get to sleep which was impossible with all the music and shouting. She finally got everyone out about half 6 this morning so I've had about an hours sleep.

Fair to say I look hideous today.. I want my bed :(
p.s. Lily Allen pregnant whaaaat?!

The day of rest indeed! I haven't been this tired / worn out / rough in ages! I may sound like an old codger but I seriously can't hack it like I used to be able to! I don't have any photos yet as I didn't take my camera out with me but my friend took hers so I'll steal a few when she gets them on Facebook :) [This blog was actually posted Sunday but I've added the picture since so it's saying it was posted Monday - just to clear up any confusion]

Friday was my friend Vicky's birthday so 24 of us (mainly couples) met in the pub then went for a meal at a local Italian then back to the pub. Meeting at the pub BEFORE the meal I've got to admit wasn't the best idea. A table of 24 at a restaurant you can imagine would be rowdy enough at the best of times, let alone when everyone at the table has been drinking for the past 2 hours. It was so embarrassing - people were actually leaving the restaurant. I couldn't hear myself think it was that loud so I can't imagine everyone else in the restaurant was happy. There was food being chucked about and the lot, you'd have thought we were all kids not adults ranging from 18 - 28. To no-ones suprise they got us in and out as quickly as they could!

We went into town for a few drinks then all ended up at my friend Holly's house till 7am Saturday morning. Think I finally got to bed around 8ish so when I woke up at dinner time you can imagine I was far from bright eyed and bushy tailed! I just wanted to sleep all day but my friend Alex and her boyfriend have just bought a house so they were having a house warming last night. Another beer was the last thing on my mind but ironically a hair of the dog is the only thing that will sort you out when you're rough.

We got in about 5 this morning and I don't plan to leave my bed at all today! Scott's just gone home to get his stuff for work then he's coming back down tonight and were gonna order a Chinese, nom nom nom :)

A greasy takeaway and a good DVD - it's what Sunday's were made for! ;)
p.s August already?! This year is going too quick for my liking!
