This is a cheery, positive blog for once so pessimists come back another day ;) However don’t be fooled by the title, I live in the UK – and we don’t see no sun! Although today I caught a tiny glimpse of the stranger and it got me thinking of my holidays this year :) eeeeeeee I’m excited!
It’s always good having a holiday booked early on in the year because it gives you something to look forward to. Or in my case it forces me to soldier on at work and not become suicidal when I get my measly wage because alas – it will all be alright when I’m led round that pool with a beverage and a good book ignoring the world for a week! …I just wish it would hurry up :( It’s a year next week since I last went on holiday. Me & Scott went Egypt for 2 weeks last March and it was a-ma-zing. This year though we’re just going for one week as money is a bit tight because of the house so were going Turkey in June :) I’m also going on a hen doo in May for 3 days to Ibiza. Counting down the days…
Where are all you lovely people off on your jollys this year then? Try not to make me too jealous :)
In other news I went out at the weekend which was a nice change. I’ve missed my nights out with my girls sooo much. Since moving into my own house and becoming a ‘responsible adult’ I’ve not been able to do it half as much so it was good to see everyone. Ignore my embarrassingly drunk antics – like I said it’s been a while…
But in this case it certainly is! I’ve been umming and ahhing whether to convert to wordpress for aaaaages. There was nothing stopping me really just the fact that I’m lazy and couldn’t be bothered. I’ve had loads of extra time at work this past week so decided to go for it. The only downside is that I’ve lost all my old blogs from FanUpdate :( I know no one reads the old ones anyway but I’d like to one day ha.
In other news… it’s Scott’s birthday today! He thinks I haven’t got him anything (probably becuase I told him I hadn’t) but of course I have! I just love suprises that’s all :) When he get’s home from work I’ve decided I’m going to lead him on a treasure hunt around the house till he finds his present. For my own amusement obviously :)
I’m actually blogging from my iPhone right now, another pro for having wordpress as there’s an app for it. So I’ll now be able to blog on the go, you lucky people ;) I shall continue with the blog challenge in my next blog, I’m now off to make sense of all this widget and plugin jargen! :/
